People who do Medical Science are mostly people who got rejected by Medicine. I assume Med Sci will be fairly competitive since everyone wants to get good mark and transfer to Medicine.

Yes I agree, that is logical. They can't get in the first time, so Med Sci is like a 2nd chance / Back Door But they need to get like 99% before Med School will even talk to them.

That said there's growing trend for Unis to make a first bachelor degree as a prerequisite for admission to a Medical Degree program.
Uni of Syd is one such.

You don't need an HD average to get into graduate medicine, it's a CR average (GPA of 5.0), including your GMAT. And like I said, it's far easier to get a CR average in an Arts degree than it is Medical Science.
