So what do you guys think??

I know it will take a bit of getting use to, but it was the best i could come up with to make sure everything wasnt clutered with the indroduction of Victoria.. If you have any suggestions please let me know!

hmm i think it looks a bit odd, like something's missing, but only because we're so used to the old layout :p

where you've listed the subforums for the "education" section - maybe you can space them out onto two lines for HSC and VCE - just to look neater :p

good work though reks!!

It's.. different.

One nitpick I've got is that for subjects with a traditionally low candidature, eg. French, would it be better for there to be one Languages forum, with a French subforum, which then has a HSC/VSC subforum in it for specifically HSC VSC related stuff?

Yeah nice job. It'll take a while to get use to but that’s to be expected. After looking at all the humanities subjects Victorian students can select from I wish I lived in Victoria. They look pretty good compared to ones we have.

just a thought..

would it be possible for the forums displayed to be chosen by the user?
i.e. each individual user has a choice to select a 'favourites' type of thing displaying only the forums that they want to see.. making it quicker etc

thanks

Is there a choice to permenatly expand the sub forums?

or at least split the tertiary studies in the universities, rather than just one link.

EDIT: i don't like it too many clicks....

its good, just need to get used to not being able to see as much on the opening page of the forum.

i think you shud space out some bits a little bit though as other people have said (just for aesthetics :p). otherwise i think its great

its all good...takes time to get used to it and also stargaze's idea of a favourites thing is quite good

you could already click on the arrow on the right to hide unwanted forum groups in the old design anyway.

I'm not a fan, but meh.

Perhaps it should have been left as before, with just a subforum for the VCE

yeah, that's what we had before but bos is expanding to victoria as well... gotta try and fit it all in without making the index page too long :\
