Hey, do u guys want Anasta back, to have a better than "pretty ok team"? Or even better, do u want Finch too?
No, you can keep them! Offloading Anasta to the Roosters was the best decision the Bulldogs have ever made :D.

So Benji's out for the season aye? Poor kid, worst luck ever.

I had no idea until you wrote that, lol. Checked NRL site, and there it was.

Tigers are finished for 2006.

Then again, they were never got involved in the race this year anyway.

As much as I love the Roosters, that's it for the season.

I don't know what that crap was today, but it was very unexciting football. :(

Blame Finch.
Bloody Roosters always make me cry. Damn Ricky Stuart. If he continues to not take responsibility and make up stupid lame excuses, we're not going to get anywhere away from the slump we're in.

NO MORE EXCUSES STUART.

And i am not even looking forward to next season, because because MORLEY AND CROSSY WILL BE GONE. :(:(:(

We could always blame the ref. That's usually pretty contructive.

We're in a slump. Stuck in 2002. We need to realise that Freddy is not playing for us, and that we really need to focus on making metres and not losing the ball. Screw offloads. We drop more than we hold onto anyway.

Copious, were you at the game like you said you'd be?

Awesome for you if the answer is yes!

I'm going to head out to Kogarah for Dragons vs Souths in two weeks .. but I think we might actually lose, because Souths will want to make it up to their fans.

Does anybody have one of those "Finals Calculator" sites?

I can't find any now .. so I'll have to do this manually.

Current NRL Ladder
1 Storm 26
2 Broncos 22
3 Sharks 22
4 Dragons 22
5 Bulldogs 20
6 Knights 18
7 Sea Eagles 18
8 Raiders 18
-------------------------------
9 Cowboys 16
10 Tigers 16
11 Panthers 16
12 Warriors 12
13 Roosters 12
14 Eels 12
15 Rabbitohs 4

Now, going through Rounds 17 - 26, this is how I get the predicted ladder ending up:

1 Storm 40 ---- 6 wins, 1 bye
2 Dragons 38 ---- 7 wins, 1 bye
3 Sharks 36 ---- 7 wins, 0 byes
4 Broncos 36 ---- 6 wins, 1 bye
5 Bulldogs 34 ---- 6 wins, 1 bye
6 Sea Eagles 32 ---- 6 wins, 1 bye
7 Cowboys 32 ---- 7 wins, 1 bye
8 Knights 30 ---- 5 wins, 1 bye
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9 Raiders 28 ---- 4 wins, 1 bye
10 Tigers 24 ---- 3 wins, 1 bye
11 Panthers 24 ---- 4 wins, 0 byes
12 Warriors 22 ---- 4 wins, 1 bye
13 Roosters 18 ---- 2 wins, 1 bye
14 Eels 16 ---- 2 wins, 0 byes
15 Rabbitohs 6 ---- 0 wins, 1 bye

That's really weird :-S

Because at the moment, I'd back the Warriors and Raiders to make the Finals on form.

Obviously, the Warriors and form don't go together, chances are that next week they are going to play shithouse.

But still ..

In history-
Highest Winning Margin: 85 points
St George 91 d. Canterbury 6 - May 11 1935 Earl Park

In recent times-
Highest Winning Margin: 70 points
Parramatta 74 d. Cronulla 4, Rd.22 2003

Correct me if I'm wrong, but me thinks that's it. I know Manly beat Penrith in 2004 70 to something, but Penny scored so the margin was in the 60's. That game is etched in my memory for some strange reason.

If Tony Martin made all his conversions the Warriors would of equaled the record!

It was Penrith who beat Manly :p

The score was 72 - 12 .. Penrith scored 13 tries, 10 goals.

But yeah, highest ever win in ARL/NRL history is St George 91 def. 6 Canterbury .. 19 tries, 17 goals. Canterbury kicked three penalty goals. The week after that, Easts beat Canterbury 87-7 .. 19 tries, 15 goals .. at least the Berries scored a try that week, lol.

The Warriors 66 - 0 victory today ranks as the SIXTH HIGHEST winning margin in NRL/ARL history. And the EQUAL FOURTEENTH HIGHEST team score.

In terms of winning margins of 60 or more since 2000, there has been:
Parramatta 74 vs 4 Cronulla (2003)
Warriors 66 vs 0 Souths (2006)
Melbourne 64 vs 0 Tigers (2001)
Cronulla 68 vs 6 Manly (2005)
Parramatta 62 vs 0 Cowboys (2001)
Penrith 72 vs 12 Manly (2004)
Melbourne 70 vs 10 Dragons (2000)

Haha, guess it didn't stick as much as I thought it did.

I remember it was at...Penrith? I have this vivid image of Preston Campbell making a break, lol.

Origin teams announced tomorrow right? Fking Mason better not be named. I don't think O'Meley should be either. I'm a big fan of his but lately he's been off his game. I think throwing all those offloads to no one scared the bejesus out of him.

I wish I was a selector :(.

Fair ladder

I dont think Manly can get 6. Nor the Sharks or Cowboys 7. Probably 6 for the raiders.

Yep, that's correct :)

You'd think that .. but over the next four or five weeks, Manly and NQL have pretty easy runs (from memory).

And if Cronulla keep their current form up, they will be almost impossible to beat.

I actually pencilled in one of the Dragons' losses during the rest of the regular season to the Sharks at Wollongong.

The shame :(
