I think the max for study each night should be 5 hours. you need to rest and recooperate. I ususally did 3-4 hours....people sleep is the key to success as long as you don't have too much

I spread out my revision/note taking througout the week.. there is no way I could do revision for all my subjects in the one night that's why I like to have set hours for everything... everyone's habits are different I suppose.

5-6 hrs is probably enough for one night hey? & then increase it few weeks prior to trials?

Yeah, maybe 2 weeks before trials and after trials towards hsc exams you may want to increase the study hours but don't overdo it, study in moderation....!!!

I get home about 3:30... don't do anything till 4:30.. homework would take me about 3 hrs max starting from whats due first (anything I don't finish I leave till the next day). It's 7:30 by then...then I take half an hour break & I still have time to study a little bit.
There you go... I don't get much TV time at all.

THat is very true, it's all on the assumption that the work including H/W is quality study. If you do muck around a bit then you can account for the shortfall by shortening your hours.

by quality, i did mean the obvious, that is sitting down and actually working hard. if ur going to muck about then it isnt quality any more is it?
