Today our maths co-ordinator gave us a speech about how it is more beneficial to do general maths If you want a good atar. Smh, so many people are going to drop to general and regret it.

Apparently it's similar to the 10.3 course and very easy to get 90+. If you don't need mathematics for University it's a good option but some people might end up wanting to do a course that requires mathematics as a prerequisite and if they drop to general now gg

lol as in, the majority of the courses offered in regards to engineering, commerce, science and the like don't have prerequisites; it's assumed knowledge

Well you pretty much don't want to a course with assumed knowledge 3 unit mathematics,after just doing no mathematics for ages for example..
