Hi guys,

I've got a quick questions about doing past papers for revision. I have a shitload on my PC, but where do you reckon I can print them all out for cheap? My school charges 10c per page, and thats like 100 bux maybe more, each subject if I printed out all the pages for each subject.

I've considered doing them while having the questions on the computer screen, but it's not actual 'exam condition' you know? It's not the 'real' experience...haha

Cheers.

just do them on the computer, you are really after the questions, not so much the conditions. even if you try you are going to be far off, the noise is all different, the temperature, etc.

perhaps print out a couple papers shrinked to fit 2 or 4 per page, back and front, which could save you a lot, and then when you feel like it, tackle a real exam in "exam conditions".

I know for me in the middle of an exam, everything just goes away and I focus on what needs to be done before pens down. point is its really the questions and content that you need to be familiar with, not the conditions.

officeworks does black and white printing for 6cents a page
but remember, you can multipage print as well - so you can have 2+ pages printed onto 1 page :)

My school cahrges 12c a page, and atm doesnt have a colour printer for students, but its monitered by a program on the computers- you get a certain amount of credit for printing and internet, and if you excede that amount you have to buy more.

the flip side of it is the teachers arent charged, so its pretty easy to sweet talk one of them into printing stuff for you.

My school is free!! But i suppose you could ask your teachers to print it out and "Hand it to the students", i.e. you. Might even push your avg class mark up as well.

Not really, I've only paid once for the 5 or so years I've been at the school.

For colour page, I need to pay 50c at my school. So, I don't see much drama there.

Some people buy bundles of past papers. But many get them from school teachers who keep giving past papers out. I have been accumulating past papers from friends/teachers in the past 3 years so I have about 200 past papers in physical form across 3/4 unit maths @.@ with like another 300 papers in digital form lol

But ye, it would cost heaps + too tedious to print all those past papers. Just ask for past papers from teachers.

BTW, I just found that I got about 100+ from friends...so make sure u make some year 12 friends and suck up to them lol! (it's meant to be a half-joke)

I do that sometimes as well, she has free printing at her office, so I just tell her to print whatever :)
e.g. the Statement on Monetary Policy by the RBA is 60+ pages - she printed all of it for me :D
