If the states are only allowed to *COIN* gold and silver then how can the 'united states' produce anything but GOLD and SILVER. This internal contradiction refutes the possibility for the 'united states' to coin anything else but gold and silver, if any currency at all...

My real problems with Ron Paul tend to pertain more to his desire for the government to stand by and let workers get ratfucked by CEO's, to let orphans and the disabled wander the streets at the mercy of charity and his belief that someone who can't afford health insurance doesn't deserve to live.

Back when he was an obstetrician, he used to treat people without insurance for free, and refused to take any money from any federal health programs. Your portrayal of him as some vulgar capitalist is compeltely wrong.

In any case, the only reason insurance is unaffordable is because of government regulations. Back before government started interfering, consumers essentially engaged in collective bargaining with doctors, until the government put an end to it.

Great empires fall because they deviate from the principles which made them great. Ron Paul is the champion of the constitution, he will follow the constitution strictly and ensure America will not fall.

The greatest threat to American national security is America's crap economy and overwhelming debt. All these unconstitutional foreign wars help in no way whatsoever in fixing the problems America face. Every other candidate supports these wars and some want to go all nation building on Iran now.

Ron Paul will do replicate what Eisenhower did post WW2 to get America out of the depression.
