I found text 4 pretty horrible. The first three we're pretty easy, but the fourth one I had no idea about.

I struggled a bit with this, text 1 and 2 were pretty easy, but text three and four were quite difficult for me. I got text 3 done, i barely finished question 4 and didnt finish question 5, id say i got about 8-11 in that section

I actually didn't find text 4 that challenging. I used it in the last question as well though...and I don't think I answered the land question very well haha.

Themes were pretty easy ie. lnclusion and exclusion
Texts 1 and 4 were straightfoward imo
Most of my techniques were like collective pronouns, inclusivity etc.
Expecting 12-13ish

All texts were pretty easy, so much vivid imagery, neologism "Sand people" and just lots of techniques, finished 2 comprehension booklets

Text 1 and text 2 I found easy, text 3 and 4 were a bitch...I don't think I did too well in this section, aiming for about a 12.

Text 1 was very easy unless I was missing something.
Text 2 also good.
Text 3 the question was kind of surprising after reading the extract.
Text 4 didn't overly like question but wasn't too difficult.

Used Texts 2 and 3 for extended.

I didn't understand part e) ... I couldn't see how the personas in text 3 and 4 desired to find connections ... but i bsed it anyways and said how in text 3 she both was pissed off and yet compassionate to her brothers even though I couldn't see how it stemmed from her desire to connect

I spoke how it metaphorically and symoblic resembled his own identity as "creased"

text 1: sad facial expressions = alienated from the city, wants to belonging etc
text 3: Girl wants to belong but her brothers abuse her. Quote. Analysis

I think i sorta implied that for text 3 - i said she was mad cause she was attacked by her brother but i didn't say she was abused or support that she was mad

That was the creased picture one right? I used the photo as a symbol of his connection to his great-grandfather and used other evidence from the poem to support how that influenced his identity

The picture was a great grandfather
