The service of "MyUni Service" you are trying to access is currently down. Please try again later.

I haven't even properly enrolled in all my subjects for next semester yet! :s I'm so not ready for timetabling! (although only one of my subjects has multiple streams, so that's the only one I have to worry about what I get allocated to).

In any case I can't get through, so I think I'll leave it a while before I attempt to sort it all out.

edit: as a side note, I find it interesting that semester 2 timetables are able to come out about 6 weeks before semester starts, yet semester 1 they can only ever manage about 2 weeks!

Why do I have an Exam in my timetable?

Specifically "ACCT1006 EXAM"

Is it just listed for one week (and not in the exam period)? In which case, I think they are just making sure that everyone will be able to attend (by having it formally timetabled) - especially if it is held outside of normal class time but not in formal examination time.

I've had a similar thing occur with a one off film screening for a subject.

Ahh, that makes sense. Yes, from memory the date was mid to late September..

Thanks, it's 3 hours too , oh dear haha.

Makes my timetable look worse as it's 5-8pm iirc, but it's only one off :)

Ok whats the general consensus... good to have tutorials later in the week, after the lectures? Or early in the week, well after the lectures but just before your next lectures?

I usually worry more about the combination of times than when classes are in relation to other classes. It's more important for me to have nice gaps in which I can work rather than having say, one tute per day or something similar.

Very good point. Right now I am trying to prevent a (Footbridge > Darlington > Footbridge) disaster lol

Took about 300 page refreshes, but I am fairly happy with my results.

4 days, nicely spaced. I also live next to campus so no break dramas.
