Beach footie you say? Do they let you play with a beer or joint in hand like we were doing at Byron last year ;)
Celebrating, commiserating or plain just having fun?

Oh and Newcastle are apparently trying to sign SWP for 12million. Dream on cunts, dream on.....
Bah - false hope can be better than no hope at times........

Just noticed this.

You gotta admit though, Freddie's better ;)
Sorry HeCtic - Jose is just so much more attractive.

Yep, Wayne Rooney, he's so hot that he had to pay a 48 year old prostitute for sex. Even though he's the most famous young footballer in the world. :)

Maybe his into older women.

Freddie really a CK model? I don't know why I find that funny. Actually it makes sense - Never found any CK models too good looking.

Some of Fred's work:

I feel a bit funny now.....

You wouldn't think someone that famous would have to pay for it though would you? No matter what his preferences are.

They don't really do anything for me but he looks good in the 2nd one. I find the other two odd - I would much prefer to see him in a pair of footy shorts - nothing more attractive than a man in football gear.

Very true. He would have beautiful women/men willingly throwing themselves at him - I can't imagine someone like Ronaldo going to a brothel and I think that even though Ronaldo's much better looking just as many women would be willing to be with Rooney. Wayne's just a little odd then I guess?

DAILY STAR

* Manchester United are in pole position to sign England striker Michael Owen from Real Madrid. Sir Alex Ferguson would love to link up Owen with his England team-mate Wayne Rooney in a mouthwatering Old Trafford strikeforce. And he has asked Real to keep him informed about Owen's future.

* Chelsea will try where Manchester United have failed with a bid for Valencia's Spanish international winger Vicente. United reportedly offered £14million for Vicente but Valencia turned that down and now the Blues will make their move. Mourinho sees Vicente as a similar player to the injury-prone Arjen Robben. The Portuguese boss would love to land either Cristiano Ronaldo or Shaun Wright-Phillips but accepts he won't get them.

* Newcastle are lining up a bid for Australian wide man Brett Emerton - two years after he snubbed them to join Blackburn Rovers. Toon boss Graeme Souness has been told that if he offers the £2.5million it cost Rovers to buy Emerton in 2003 the deal is definitely on.

DAILY MIRROR

* Newcastle have made an improved offer of £6.5million for Chelsea midfielder Scott Parker and promised to maintain his current salary of £55,000 per week.

* Freddie Ljungberg is poised to agree a new contract with Arsenal, despite his frustration at the Gunners' failure to start talks on a new two-year extension before the end of last season.

Owen to Man U...? I thought hez Liverpool through and through.

OMG - LIVERPOOL GOT THEIR CHAMP LEAGUE SPOT!

Linkages are everywhere, but mainly here and over here.

Now at least we have something to debate for the next few weeks, thank god!

I am glad that the Uefa committee has decided to change things around and so from now on the Champ League Champions will now automatically qualify. I'm just disappointed that there are 5 English sides in the UCL next season.

Poor old Man Citeh will now miss out on the Uefa Cup thanks to Liverpool ... now we won't hear the end of Simon Hill complaining on SBS!

Edit: Damn, was only 10 hours late in posting this! :p

Don't worry - I don't mind being reminded and I'm sure everyone else is ok with it too. :D

Right.. so why should Man City get a place in the UEFA cup?

"Hey! You let the European Champions in! We came 8th! We should get into Europe too!"

Anyway seems we're getting linked to Pablo Ibanez.. huge step up from Crouch, even though he's a defender. 4 Cbs in Hyypia, Milito, Ibanez and Carra will be good next season.

I just think it's pointless to have that spare UEFA Cup spot floating around.

Some of the clubs Liverpool could face in the 1st qualifying round (courtesy The Sun):

ANORTHOSIS (Cyprus)
TRIP to Ayia Napa perfect for players who lost summer hols.

ARTMEDIA (Slovakia)
SOUND as if they are named after a dot.com money-losing venture.

SHERIFF TIRASPOL (Moldova)
IN Transistra, with serious security problems. Sounds nice . . .

SKONTO RIGA (Latvia)
WOULD be confident — they once stuffed Rhyl!

FC HAKA (Finland)
MIDNIGHT sun on offer close to the Arctic Circle in July.

ZRINJSKI (Bosnia-Herz)
CLUB named after a Countdown conundrum.

DINAMO TBILISI (Georgia)
ONE to avoid. Beat Liverpool in the old European Cup in 1979.

RABOTNICKI (Macedonia)
FROM Skopje, one of the least glamorous cities on God’s earth.

FBK KAUNAS (Lithuania)
JUST sacked their coach mid-season for the third year in a row.

DYNAMO MINSK (Belarus)
KOP should make Minsk-meat out of former Soviet republic boys.

HAFNARFJÖRDUR (Iceland)
LOCALS believe in the ‘hidden people’ who live in volcanic lava.

GORICA (Slovenia)
STAR player Zlatko Zahovic once branded coach Srecko Katanec a motherf***** and a d***head.

SLIEMA WANDERERS (Malta)
ISLAND won a George Cross for bravery in WWII.

SHELBOURNE (Rep of Ire)
UNDISPUTED No 1 club in Ireland — which isn’t saying much.

PYUNIK YEREVAN (Armenia)
VERY little known about them — Kop happy if it stays that way.

TNS LLANSANTFFRAID (Wales)
OFFERED Liverpool a play-off for their Champions League spot.

GLENTORAN (N Ireland)
HAVE a striker called Kevin Keegan. Wondered where he went.

TIRANA (Albania)
SAINTED Benitez right at home in hometown of Mother Teresa.

FC LEVADIA TALLINN (Estonia)
FORMED just six years ago, won three Estonian titles.

DUDELANGE (Luxembourg)
EVEN Luther Blissett scored hat-trick against their national team.

HB TÓRSHAVN (Faroe Is)
MOST fishermen in the HB team are actually Liverpool fans.

QAYRAT ALMATY (Kazakstan)
COUNTRY has problem with killer disease anthrax.

XAZAR LANKARAN and NEFTÇI BAKI are fighting for the right to represent Azerbaijan.

Should've just chucked us straight into 3rd round qualifying. This first round business is a waste of our Japan tour.
