as reyando or someone pointed out, their defence department is just midfield rejects :p
Ivan Helguera!

This is why Real Madrid can't win the Champions League. When they come up against a strong attacking side like Arsenal or Milan their defence will concede and enslaught of goals. Of course their attack can counterbalance this but when you come up against defenders such as Nesta-Maldini or Campbell-Cygan :)D) it doesn't matter if your Ronaldo or Henry, your not gonna get past them often. So Madrid will never lose 0-1, but they will lose 3-4 or 8-9.

that is why i would like to see Milan-Real, as i think even CL lightweights Arsenal would be more of a challenge :)

sagnol would be good ... is any1 from the porto defence for sale, they have been impressive ... why did we (arsenal) sell matthew upson for?

mate, we sold upson cos he's slow as constipation and only really decent in the air.

toure has been our most improved player of the season and is favourite to win the young player of the year in the premiership. i think we'll be fine if we get another right back and use lauren as midfield cover. sagnol can't get into the bayern side so it's probably agent talk about him coming to arsenal. out of all our signings theres only one or two who we were rumoured to be buying beforehand so i'll just enjoy the season and worry about who we sign when the club announces it :D

well fat frank is officially a cunt.

"Mostly, the challenges were legal but the aggression spilt over just before half-time when Frank Lampard clashed with Pires. Angry at what he perceived to be an over- robust block, Pires confronted the Chelsea midfield player as they headed towards the tunnel for the interval.

Lampard appeared to be keen to avoid a confrontation but, as he drew level with the Arsenal bench, he spat water over Graham Stack, the substitute goalkeeper. Standing close by, Wenger shook his head in schoolmasterly disdain. Luckily, Martin Keown, the other witness, seemed too stunned to react, otherwise the battle to be the best team in London might have taken on a darker and more literal sense. "

i hope a nice ban is in order should they bring it up to uefa.

This is why Reynaldo is not a big fan of EPL

too many arrogant, overly-physical players

such as:

Lampard
Shearer
Bellamy
Keane
Mills
Stone
Parlour
Cole
Rooney
Terry
Gerrard
Keown

or, in other terms, most of the English squad...

why cannot they be more Italian :)

but then they would have to be really soft and fall over for no reason and get soft penalties. that is the only problem with the Serie A.
