haha ok sorry, going from trebble to a single in the space of 72 hours is not choking.... not at all .... especially considering the teams they lost 2 are now short odds favourites 2 take out the respective cups but were long odds 2 beat arsenal :p

Gerard Houllier is the biggest retard of all time surely. The only player who's looked in great form for the Reds other than Gerrard (although he did miss a penalty this time) has been Baros, and he's played him off the bench every single match. Fingers crossed he gets shipped off with Heskey next year.

lol did ne1 read the Daily Telegraph yesterday, there was an aritcle in it saying that Roman Abromovich might sack the whole team if Chelski dont win the UCL lol, the only players that are safe are Lampard and Terry

That won't happen, Roman's invested too much.

Although, it'd be funny, Chelski 2003-4, Chelski 2004-5... each edition offers 20 something new players :p

Hopefully next season will see some more of the same tight action like this season, but instead of having 5 teams fighting for 4th position, have 5 teams fighting for first.
Though i know that probably wont happen cause Man U, Arsenal and Chelski are too far ahead in the player talent department.

It doesn't matter how much your Boss knows, because it's the Boss who hires and fires. :p

The Liverpool feature was much more funny, imo.

Ranieiri stuffed them up. WHY did he bring on Veron. Veron might as well retire now, cause he is sooo crap that he longer belongs at the top level. It was truly a mistake to buy him.

What Ranieri should've done after that guy was sent off:

Marco Ambrosio

Mario Melchiot - John Terry - Marcel Desailly

Scott Parker(Geremi) - Claude Makelele
Joe Cole - Frank Lampard - Wayne Bridge

Eidur Gudjohnsen(Adrian Mutu) - Hernan Crespo

- Instead of playing un-match fit Veron, he should've played Cole. Actually, no comment needed.
- Bridge would've provided something more from the left, if played as a winger.
- Let Parker play in the centre, or even Geremi.
- I mean, Huth?! Remember what happened at Everton? Also, he's a defender, and inexperienced one.
- Hass. is a poacher, not a right winger.

Well, we can all wave goodbye to poor ol' Ranieri, now.

yep, i think Ranieri just bought himself his ticket out of Chelsea, after it looked like he could have secured his job, with Champions League glory.
