And dont you people think its narrow minded that you blame a game on one player, ultimately yes it was his pass intercepted, but what about the poor performance by the forwards who were meant to run all over the QLD pack..
I can blame the game on kimmorely and I will. Not just because of the intercept pass, but because he didn't do anything at all. He let the side down.

Minnichello went alright, but he kept falling over and shit. He's a good fullback, but he always seems to be falling over.

We're blamin on Kimmorley becauz the half back receivez the ball all the time, and if he doezn't perform well he dragz the whole team wit him. It clearly showed tonight.
i understand, if it wasnt B kimmorley i probably wouldnt stand up for him as much.

I dont think he will be dropped, the forwards were to blame as well, they were underdone. Bailey made a couple good runs, but Price,Thorn and Civococeva(spelling) made inroads in the nsw defense. And those penalties geeze, lazy.

Just so you know, Kimmorley's long range kicking game is the best in the NRL. he has the highest % of getting kicks down the other field and keeping them out of the fullback/wings hands.

He can run the ball, not as good as oford, but good for a half back.

His passing game is also bloody good.

However, rating him on the performance tonight, he was probably the worst half back in thhe nrl.

Because i am a shark fan im sure ive watched more of his games the most of you and i know that was a terrinle performance by his standards i know he is capable of playing much better.

And dont you people think its narrow minded that you blame a game on one player, ultimately yes it was his pass intercepted, but what about the poor performance by the forwards who were meant to run all over the QLD pack. What about the penalties that were given away to become 6 pts, if they werent scored we would of won, what about the ineffective centers? there was alot of things wrong with this performance, the problem is everyone hates Kimmorley (i used to too) so he is easy to blame. Someone who played equally as bad was Ryles but because he was in a less pivotal role everyone forgets. Ryles' dropped ball lead to a try down the other end.....

Anyway, im just trying to explain to all you kimmorley haters it wasnt just a bad game for him.
him throwing a bad pass at the end isnt his main fault. his main fault is that he didnt take control of the game.

his kicking game today is shocking to say the least, no pressure at all on qld and gave up lodas of territory. his ball distribution was poor. u said the centres were poor, they were directly a result of being deprived of the ball for which kimmorley is at fault. the props were average yes, but kimmorley did not try to rise to the occasionto lift the side, instead he went along with the ride and chucked in a half-hearted effort.

it was the likes of kennedy, fitzy, hindmarsh, minichello, king, gasnier, and for short periods wing and bailey that lifted nsw to close the gap

The QLD forwards were given the advantage by Kimmorley with that failed chip kick in the first few minutes. If he would of kicked long the whole first half would of been different.

Thankyou Copious! I agree! Terrible choice with the bench having no props!

I don't think simpkins did a very good job. The NRL is lacking a good ref since harrigan left.

Simpson played pretty well, but the impact from the bench waz far greater by QLD than NSW. I reckon Ryan should've been a starter.
who would you replace in the starting side ... fitzy and kennedy had monster games, hindmarsh worked his arse off all night. besides the backrowers arent relaly the problem

Yeah they performed well tonight, but if I waz the coach I would've replaced Kennedy. True he played well, but I reckon Ryan can play better had he started.

yeah exactly! thats why selecting simpsons wasnt really a top idea. he did ok this match, but it would have been much better if there was a specialist prop backing up bailey and ryles when they go AWOL.
