宇 - u
多 - ta
田 - da
ヒ - hi
カ - ka
ル - ru
'hikaru' is in katakana

i cant type japanese on these damn uni comps, but 'da' is た with two little dots in the top right hand corner (called tenten)

I was the Returning Officer...people that backed Nova (namely Manoj Dias Abey the new Guild President and Gulfam Ahmed) didnt like the way I was handling the election, and tried to obstruct the count of the votes (at which point campus security had to be called to sort things out) and even bugging the Associate Dean (but then the dean called me and told me dont worry and to proceed)

but anyway its over

Interesting.. so much going on in other faculties. In CSE for some reason it's very very peaceful, no such controversy going on about elections..

(discounting lecturer's debates on axing higher comp 1a and 1b )
