ours ran out a few months ago, so i'd like them to hurry up...also, grrr, just found out, even if we do get the National Agreement, it wont come into force untill your state agreement runs out.
well, it probably varies from store to store, but if your doing it in a temporary capacity, you probably wont have to do much extra, except perhaps in the absence of the CSM: attend department manager meetings , check and action the core-comms, magazine returns, and have the final word on whether to bring in extra staff / cut staff back.Excuse me townie while you're here, can i please have some advice.
What strange new things will have to to deal with as de facto 2IC? Like weird technical shit to do with sales and performance and everything? I will continue in that position until the real 2IC recovers from her miscarriage so I would like a bit of inkling of what I'm getting myself in to.
I never used to do that, but I haven't been an office cashier/SSA/SSO for a few years.allright, office cashier peoples, a stupid question.
The trader goes IN the safe at close, am I correct? I would have thought so, but apparantly it no longer needs to? I'm a bit confused, wasn't the reasoning behind that in case there was a fire or something...
I dunno anything about the data, I have always put it in the safe, but tonight I got told I didn't need to. It just seemed a bit odd leaving it out.I never used to do that, but I haven't been an office cashier/SSA/SSO for a few years.
Plus, surely there is some kind of backup process from stores to a central datacentre for all the StoreLine data???
Alright then, maybe I'm just being too cautious it seems. We don't. It still puzzles me that we have to fill it out by hand... SURELY it can be calculated and printed by the software! But I guess they want the figures updated in it every day, not printed once at the end of the week.. bleh.
So do I. My 'Christmas week' starts tomorrow and I'm really looking forward to it. Other people are so uptight about Xmas week and are like "ohh it's going to be so hard and busy and annoying" It's the BEST week in the Supermarket trade by a long shot.I always love Christmas week even if it is hectic.
