Wow, that's strange. I thought most schools would have their Prelim Yearlies in the last couple of weeks of Term 3.gothed0ggies said:use are all lucky ! use get to go out and enjoy yourselves lols
while i have to study my yearlies are in weeks 1 & 2 of next term
Yeah that's exactly what I'm thinking. The ONLY reason why I will study in the holidays is for my maths HSC this year - and nothing else. If I didn't have that - I'd be sleeping and going out all day. I also agree that you need to place a greater importance on friends, exercise... I mean these factors will stay with you after the HSC.lyounamu said:I will edit what I said earlier:
I am going to study about 1-2 hours a day during holidays. I think it is not good for me especially to go full out during holidays and get burnt out.
If people are confident that they can do that, that's great. As for me, I need to start from easy start and develop slowly. On top of that, I am determined to put more time into things that are more important to me at this stage...friends, exercise, having fun and other things. HSC is for next term, I reckon.
Sounds like a great holiday plan. Now - just make sure you can keep to it.TunaFish said:I've got an Economics assignment to do over the holidays. Oh, joy!
Actually, I shouldn't be complaining. I prefer this as opposed to trying to churn out a half-decent piece of crap 2 days before the yearlies commence.
Anyway, other things I've planned for the holidays:
- Glebe & Bondi markets.
- Newtown.
- Movies.
- A birthday party.
- State library with friends.
- Buying textbooks.
- Reading Frankenstein.
- Buying lots of new stationary.
- Cleaning out my room, in a massive kind of way.
- 1 hour of math each day, mainly reviewing prelim work.
- Previewing most subjects, except math and CaFS.
Aaaaaand, that's all I can think of right now
Hehe. I'll try my best.Aerath said:Sounds like a great holiday plan. Now - just make sure you can keep to it.
i dont know.. its weird hey loljellybelly59 said:damn that sucks! won't that mean your school will be 2 weeks behind in hsc ?
5 weeks is long in terms of how much HSC content you're missing out...gothed0ggies said:i dont know.. its weird hey lol
our teachers said we dont officially start any year 12 work
till week 5 of term 4 !
but most people ive talked to at other schools are starting year 12
first week back.
*steals your dedication*TunaFish said:I've got an Economics assignment to do over the holidays. Oh, joy!
