Depends which buses (the 891 is apparently free, but don't trust everything you read, and even if it's true, it's ultimately up to the bus driver), at what times and which bus drivers.

Depends how far you live.

You will need a myBus2 to go to UNSW, and another one to go back. You could get a TravelTen as well.

If you have a MyMulti of any type, then you can use that on the buses.

If you live reasonably far (i.e. myMulti 3 distance), maybe the convenience of a MyMulti DayPass is worth considering - it's like 50-70 cents more expensive, but you don't have to carry 3 tickets.

If you live closer, then it's probably better to just get a return train ticket and two MyBus2 tickets.

If you have the money, it may be worthwhile getting a TravelTen. Even if the 891 is free for Open Day, having the 1 bus ticket is more convenient than 10 single MyBus2 tickets, if you need to catch other buses or maybe you might only go to O-Week for 3 days etc.

I assume he means on BoS so anyone can go along to it opposed to organising through PM.

On the Open Day website it says it's a free bus service. Is this only for tomorrow's Open Day (because apparently UNSW Express doesn't usually run on weekends), and can someone confirm if it's actually free?
