Soooo tiring this week, probably the most stressful first week I've ever had thanks to COMP1917 and FINS1613... but I really like the American lecturer we have for 1613 though - cool guy.

What's wrong with comp1917? I'm in it too

There's like too much work to do for the first week, like a LOT. So much that I can't even distinguish which is part is assessable (the portfolio) and which ones are not. Haha

Have you started your tute/lab yet? How was it?

WOW MATH1151 was so fast-paced or was that just me? :/

Motta was real good today. He got the biggest round of applause at the end I have ever heard.

Dick nearly puts me to sleep tbh.

Kress is good, just sometimes tries to be funny but it doesn't work LOL

There's like too much work to do for the first week, like a LOT. So much that I can't even distinguish which is part is assessable (the portfolio) and which ones are not. Haha

Have you started your tute/lab yet? How was it?

Oh yeah I'm really confused about all that portfolio stuff and the "interim resume" due in week 5 :| Do you know where to access the blog on openlearning?

And I havn't started yet - first one tomorrow

LOL yeah, I still haven't even done the 4001 microprocessor Pi task yet, I'll probably do it tomorrow. I think you access the blog on the lefthand side of your profile. There's a tab that says Blog.

Same, tute/lab is tomorrow at noon in Goldstein/Tuba lab. We don't happen to be in the same one do we?

The 12 o'clock one? Yeah literally everyone I asked about him hasn't liked him and he was terrible at the orientation. Have you started MGMT? FINS is probably my fav atm.

He's pretty good like he's interactive and continues evaluating problems with the content.

Tumarkin is pretty cool, chilled guy as mentioned. Soooo lenient as well when he talks about assessment - like he tries his best to scale up.

Love when everybody saw his long bizarre password when logging into myfinancelab, mentioning how the textbook company adds random cliparts in registration tutorial. Haha, I thought that was pretty humorous.

Looking forward to the course the rest of the semester!

EDIT: By the way, you should do it this sem. I've heard bad reviews about FINS1613 in second semester, like the course convenor/lecturer makes the final exam really hard and/or doesn't scale that much as Tumarkin would do.
