According to UNSW, 29 Jun still falls under the Semester 1 Exam period (12 Jun - 29 Jun 2015) so it's fine.

Sorry for the late response, but as far as I understood it even presentations and non-take home exams can't be done during those times, as it's purely meant for examinable content and study.

But the presentation is "examinable content" - its just testing whether you can express your knowledge in a verbal manner, instead of in a written way.

Then again I chose to do it on that date, after all of our final exams anyway.

In general it's not a problem unless if you have something in between, and if you chose to do it then bear with the consequences.
