for my script im converting the Babylonian Myth: Pyramus and Thisbe, into a modern day setting...

I did the HSC in 04 as well, but I got a really crap mark...why? Because Promotion and Program relys on being able to create a poster that I didn't have the resources to do......and because I did it the day before. Going to OnStage showed me why I deserved the mark I got, unless you're prepared to trapse around the state looking for a good printer...don't do it.
In case you're interested, I'm doing scriptwritng this year.....hopefully this time next year I won't be writing this with 'holy don't do scriptwriting or promotion and program' LOL.

My name's Tim, and I'd be alcoholic if I drank lots. I'm prbably doing lighting design for my IP (so I suppose there won't be much competition..) and again probably for Holy Day scenes 4 and 15 (the one with the 3 women and the rape one). Sounds like fun anyway.

For my IP I'm doing Performance... it's going ok but I am really excited about it and love doing it so hopefully it will be good. I love drama - it's the only subject I love look forward to going to... it's great.
I'm also doing Bush and City - Touch of Silk and Summer of the Seventeenth Doll
and American Drama - Streetcar Named Desire and Desire Under the Elms

im doing theatre critical i.p. australian drama bush and city and american drama. I live in port macquarie so its been a bit of an effort to get metro to see some performances. I've only seen one so far! But hopefully I'll get to see some things before easter break.

As for me........I'm doing performance!! I'm not sure exactly what I'm going to do yet and it's starting to freak me out that most of you have a set idea of what you're going to do no matter what form you're doing!! I want to do an extract of a play but the only problem is it's too short and i'll need to find the rest of the play somewhere - i haven't been able to find it over the internet so my only option is to trek it down to my local bookstore and see if they either have it or can order it in for me!!

I'm doing performance, Gary's house and 7 Stages for Aust Theatre and Caucasian Chalk Circle and Mother Courage for Brecht.

My school revels in being different,
"Ooh how embarassing! We are doing the exact same plays as *insert name of school here*."

Anyway, i like the idea of performance, but the mono i'm doing is quite risqué and sexual, but i thought what the hell! A friend of mine is playing a porn star, and my character looks like Hi5 compared to that.

I sort of liked the idea of scriptwriting...but it's too much work. And why not capitalise on other people's pre written work, i say.

so is anyone as stressed out as me? lol i swear the pressure is really on!!!!! i hate it!!!!!

I am doing performance, because it always gets me good marks, I enjoy it and I can't draw so that cuts out costume design and set. my eyesight is crap, so that cuts out film and everything else leaves me cold.

I am looking forward to doing my monologue. I took the plunge and worte it myself.

Well I'm doing theatre criticism, because Ive been told by my teacher than I have a huge theatrical vocabulary and because Im already doing another pracitical subject, I thought it best for me not to perform! Hope everyones finding stuff! And DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT, that no one will use because that's what the markers remember.. If you do something sterotypes, then the chance is almost most of the state has also done it!

That is exactly what my teachers say...."Dont use stereotypes" and so forth
