thats why me and one of my close friends didnt move. we couldve gone better ranked schools but we chilled and despite our school being dog dog dog dog dog shit we did pretty good in the end.

Cant imagine going to some tryhard school with 0 friends and ending my HS experience there. No thanks im good with shitty old comprehensive school just gimme my friends xD

You're fantasising what you expect uni to be like, but I assure you it's not like that, at least not in the earlier stages of uni

Barely anyone attempts to socialise with others (ie people just stick together with their old hs friends), everyone is really distant from each other, and your time is just gone trying to catch up an endless pile of lectures. Later on once you settle down, and adjust to the mundanity of uni, then I guess you get to experience whatever you just mentioned

i can't be the only one not excited for nightclubs or raves in uni, the experience feels more like an american thing
it's not a matter of extrovert/introvert because i'd love to meet more people it's more that the noise just makes my head hurt
there was a disco at my school camp and it was so loud that i left and took two strolls around the campsite at night alone to clear my head then went to read in my cabin

man i wish i can study overseas but the uni that accepted me isn't like "highly recognised" globally so id have trouble finding somewhere to work

yeah i agree, personally i feel like if u are able to achieve a balance, it wouldn't be too hard to balance a great social life and nightlife with med studies

BRO i think we were drugged in year 9 camp me and a few other people couldn't sleep after one dinner and the night disco event and istg i was full on halucinating im not even jk this was the craziest experience i had in relation to getting drugged
