I guess they deserved it. If you are gonna cheat, do it right.

If you're not smart enough to cheat without being caught, then don't bother.

If you're smart enough to cheat without being caught, you should be smart enough to not need to cheat, right?

Not really, for example i cheated before because I was too lazy to memorise essay/quotes

That has nothing to do with being smart.

Then what does it mean if one is smart enough to cheat without being caught? Does it basically imply one is just too lazy to study enough to avoid the urge to cheat, but want the marks enough to invest effort into devising strategies of cheating without getting caught?

If you get away with cheating, it means you did it sneakily enough. Yet it doesn't really remove the immorality from the act.

She really didn't get a bad mark, mid-80s for MX1, but I think she's pressured that she's not coming 1st/2nd in any subject despite studying so hard.

6) Logically, she had a 4-coloured pen beside her, why wasn't she writing with that?
Always use multi-colour pens they're the easiest to use when cheating... I don't cheat (well I used to, I know many ways to cheat in exams and after as well as getting away with it, teachers are idiots. Don't cheat Karma's a bitch.)

I've heard about some pretty brilliant cheating strategies especially by uni kids lel
If they can come up with those they probably don't actually need to cheat in the first place thouhg

Very true, instead of coming up with brilliant ways of cheating might as well study.

I'd say let it go this time, if it happens again then report it but try to do it anonymously.

Because imo some assessment tasks, particulsrly English, Science and Hidtory are unfair. You can pretty much ace those subjects with rote learning - not everyone has a brain with 100000TB storage. Its even more unfair when youre forced to memorise multiple texts in English because teachers will only disclose the chosen related text on the day (this forces some students to cheat because they dont want to lose like half their marks because they memorised the wrong text)

So following your logic, if a murderer gets away with what he or she did, it's the systems fault, not the murderer's. So the murderer doesn't have to change their ways or attitude

I hate to say it but this is the case for many judicial systems around the world, especially in democratic countries. There is no such thing as a perfect system in our society, because human nature won't allow it (we'd find a way to cheat the system if we were disadvantaged in some way).

I'm not supporting that logic, just stating a fact.

If you can take advantage of a situation in some way, it's your duty to do it. Why should the race always be to the swift, or the Jumble to the quick-witted? Should they be allowed to win merely because of the gifts God gave them? Well I say, "Cheating is the gift man gives himself."

Mainly the writing subjects, English and Business Studies. Don't know why people would cheat in English Studies though, it doesn't go towards your ATAR.
