Not really necessary to get 90+ for law.i won't be able to get the 90+ ATAR that i want.
But, i guess i just have to work harder, eh?
the subjects you got are really goodI have taster week, next week.
Taster week is where we are given information about subjects in class, and we can attend classes with year 11s.
After taster week (in 2 weeks) in subject selection..
I really have no idea what i want to do yet, yes im still a bit of an air-head..
Reason being is that, i really want to do law, but i was thinking of choosing:
Information Process Technology (2 unit)
Software Design Development (2 unit)
Maths (2 unit)
English Advanced (2 unit)
Legal Studies (2 unit)
Ancient History (2 unit)
I do quite well in IPT and History.. i have interest in law.. but i really don't know.
The Atars are so high and everything.. and well, right now my results are no where near 90+
I got 82% for History and 85% for IT last semester, and thinking about it all makes me think i won't be able to get the 90+ ATAR that i want.
But, i guess i just have to work harder, eh?
I also wish i did well in science, because if i did well in science, then i could pick one of the sciences next year and it would scale well (if i did well) but frankly, my mind will not comprehend science.
I got like 45% in science last semester. T_T
Heh, I don't even have the choice to do these subjects, my school filters out all the ones that it thinks doesn't scale well.Information Process Technology (2 unit)
Software Design Development (2 unit)
Legal Studies (2 unit)
im thinkin of dropin it in yr 12</FAMILY><FAMILY food="" chose="" hu="" frend="" tech)=""> LOL, besides the cooking all my friends do is go into the computer labs and go on fb >.> But i guess the ease of a subject depends on the teacher and the student's aptitude. But yeah, food tech's scaling is quite appaling.
To be honest, food tech seems be a common sense subject that one can pick up easily (i did it in years 9 and 10).
Nevertheless, do it if you enjoy it
</FAMILY>
Just wait and see i say. If you actually enjoy the subject, the workload isn't too much and you're acing it then keep it. Otherwise, consider dropping if you really hate itim thinkin of dropin it in yr 12

If you're not good at Maths you're probably best to steer clear of chemistry. Or just make sure you put a LOT of time into it.Here are mine might alter the business studies for chem if i can... although my teachers would suggest not to.

RE 1U
Trying to get input for my subjects on other sites.. i dropped the ipt for the bio.
Do Advanced English for at least Year 11. I know that sounds biased coming from someone doing 4 Unit English, but it's a good idea to start at the highest level of each subject; so long as you think you can handle it. Going to the lowest level of a subject will breed complacency.what about my subject selection for year 11

No, so long as you manage your time well. I predict that you'll either hardly do any work in, get bored and/or will eventually drop SDD. But we'll seemy subjects are in the sig
is doing 14 units really that hectic?
