Your beginning to make me worry guys I ordered two 14 shirts and I'm worried they're gunna be too small lol the size 20 in spotless I have got yet because they sent the long sleeve instead of short but when I tried it on it's was over a singlet and a white business shirt and it fit comfortably and I'm pretty sure the was no pull/ gape in the buttons so it had a bit of room.
I'm really worried coz I don't wanna have it not fit! And I don't wanna send it back because that is embarrassing lol
according to the measurement a 14 should fit so :s

I'd rather exchange the shirt that didn't fit than have one thats too small. Besides I think there's complimentary exchange still, so it won't cost you anything.

Question for SCO Attendants:

What do people do If a SCO freezes mid-transaction? I know you would have to reboot the machine(via CTRL+ALT+DELETE), But What happens If it is Mid Transaction and you can`t save the transaction?

It hasn`t happened to me yet,but If it is going to happen anytime,it will be over xmas.

I rang up ti and changed it to 16, I think the 14 would have fit plenty but I just wanted to be sure and if it is giant I will just get it altered

If it's only a small transaction I would just scan all the items again on another register.

For a large transaction I would do CTRL-ALT-DELETE to reboot the SCO. The new software doesn't take that long to load and then the transaction will come back up on the screen and you can finish the transaction.

It definitely is painful/embarrasing when it freezes because the customer has spent a lot of time scanning their items.

Has anyone else seen the ice-cream cone on the screen when it is loading? lol

This doesn't happen very often...only once when I was an attendant.

The customer in question got very shitty, because it was a full trolley of stuff they had scanned. I basically apologised and asked if they'd like me to open up on a register for them - which I did.

For only a small number of items, just move everything to an available SCO and scan it for them. That's what I'd do anyway.

WOW! Just looked at all your flickr photos, and those first couple where so OLD! Like early 90's late 80's hahah. Where is that at?

Everyone should do the same!!
They were taken at Highpoint Shopping Center, Melbourne. I remember these registers from when I was a child, really bizarre, all facing the same direction. I was gonna take some of the smokes counter but there were too many customers around lol...

The place was pretty run down though. The fridges were dark blue and all the metal around the produce was light green. The place is in real need of a proper refit IMO.

But yeah would be great to see pics from everyone else

EDIT: My friends think I'm obsessed and wierd lol

Nope lol, he was no where in sight. Did it all by myself.
Plus, if there was one person who would have helped it would of been the svr, DM wouldn't have helped in a million years.

It is easy though lol.
Haha...we must have a nice DM :p

The hardest part is having to wait for the store to close before you can start.
Hehe true.

Although everyone at our store are very tight with that. When the last register person signs off (and people are still in the store), they announce:

"Attention all customers, this store has closed, no more customers will be served, please make your way to the exits at the front of the store, thank you"

We make a 30 min's call, 20 min call, 15, 10, 5, 2, then a closed call. It's not like they don't get enough warning.

This probably sounds stupid, but I need to be refreshed with home deliveries. I usually only work nights (close shifts on weekdays and weekends).

I know how to do a home delivery via the register (nontrade > home del > enter/confirm customer details, etc etc)
What happens after that though? There are slips in the draw with like reference numbers on them isn't there? Do we use those, or do we just put the shopping on the trolly after we do the register home delivery?

Thanks
