yeah everyone adapts to the new lifestyle.
dont worry, you'll be fine!
jeez, be more nervous, meilz92!!!
Looks like we are in the same shoes, but different size! yes, i will be going to unsw.im gonna be so fucking nervous on my first day
but no, i wont be goin to unsw.
haha
i was really looking forward to starting uni.
the fact that i met 2 good friends from highschool in my very first lecture meant that any nervousness during first day was GONE
but yea, i was nervous at first, but excited too.
then meet new people!
say hi to a random person next to you, talk about what degree you're doing and stuff (DONT talk about your atar, thats lame).
it wouldnt be too hard for YOU to make friends at uni, i reckon
Work was easy to adapt to, I still think HSC is harder. But I am still a bit behind in making friends. A common problem you might notice in the forum re uni social life is the "lots of acquaintance, not enough friends" syndrome, and that's sort of what I am experiencing.so did you make some new good friends? adapt to the work?
:mad1:changed my mind, don't talk to me Amelia, you will cramp my style and stop me from getting in with the cool kids
same ... but instead of west... its rural area... i'm moving 800km to sydney where i know no one besides ppl on here .see you got lucky
since i live out west and all, most people in my grade arent even going to uni, then heaps are going to UWS, only a couple going to USYD, none of which are doing my degree. so im gonna be a massive loner
i am indeedsame ... but instead of west... its rural area... i'm moving 800km to sydney where i know no one besides ppl on here .
