i go to nsg and its great. we have a great relationship with our teachers (i mean at what other school do teachers plan a flash mob to boost the confidence levels of year 12?), with nsb, its competitive but we support each other... (no "i haven't started the assignment yet....." the next day: "yeah i finished it already...")

we get to do whatever we want for the HSC, no forcing us to do maths, no english ext... we do offer society and culture and studies of religion... the only significant subject we don't offer is business studies because economics is a superior subject (where "the candidature is much higher")

ANDDDDDDDD........ we will come second again this year because we have a strong grade and a small tail. you can join us... or not :p

Because...?

You obviously aren't around Central station at 3. They flood the station and you can't help but look at their uniforms which are crimes against fashion =P
More like 3.30. ;)

If you're gonna stalk, might as well stalk correctly. :p

I just remember when the girls become Seniors in Term 4 Year 9, they change out of the tunic and into white blouses and skirts. When it rained....

hey, welllll.......... (okay i'm just going to brag about my school because of my you know... school pride)
last year we had 3 people with a 99.95 estimate... one person ended up with it.. we came 2nd so yeah... woooo
and this year 9 people have a 99.95 estimate with heaps in the 99s...... (so our head is pretty strong)
and our deputy has said our tail is smaller than last year..... (which is kinda true.... the major slackers have either dropped out/moved schools repeated)

so im feeling pretty confident!! :))))))))

they'll be first though.... i think they're untouchable now with people transfering in every year and them attracting the best and what not

Telling a prospective student that the major slackers have moved out of your grade and possibly moved into theirs isn't exactly the most persuasive argument to make to someone. ;)

Or whatever it is...

Besides, most of the girls there are Asian. And they don't interest me... because I find them all unattractive and DO NOT WANT. =P

go to nsg :) (not bias at all..)

and nsb's cohort this year is actually EXTREMELY strong - they basically have no tail and their top students are amazing, so I wouldn't be surprised if THEY actually beat us...

sg is also a very good school so i guess if you don't want to travel for that long, you should go there

but nsg has a lot of extra curricular activities and opportunities to do awesome things, so if you want to be an all-rounded student (which will be great for your references later on if you're applying for scholarships/med/whatnot) then you should really consider nsg :) (not saying that sg lacks those things)

also in terms of the "good teachers" - our current principal took over in 2006 (when I was in year 7) and people decided to blame her for our falling ranks, which was so uncalled for (but it is true a lot of teachers left then)
but since six years have passed, i don't think you should make your decision over that

some of the new teachers who came in afterwards are AMAZING. our history and english head teachers especially....but there are other teachers who really really can't teach for their lives...but i'm pretty sure it's like that for most schools :)

The day when Ruse doesn't come first, I'm going to chuck a party...
Predictions on which school would be able to beat Ruse?
I'd say one of the girl schools in the top 5 ;D

EDIT: Actually it can also happen when Dr. Intaj Ali makes only 1 Year 12 Student from Malek Fahd sit the HSC Exams and that kid ends up getting an ATAR of 99.95 then Malek Fahd comes 1st = Dr. Intaj Ali smiling for life.

Don't worry about not making friends. If you're not a total dunce, you'll be fine. People are always friendly to new people, especially girls.
Consider:
1. travelling distance
2. Differences in cohort strength (pretty negligible in this case)
3. Subject selection
4. teachers (I'd suggest googling them. bit stalker-ish, but who cares. Future employers google employees)
5. extre-curricular activites
6. school facilities/quality of rooms/library etc.
7. uniforms (this is last because if you defs can't decide, just go where the best uniform is haha)

Pretty shitly. Less prospects for sex.
I've only had sex with like two of my classmates, but it would be A LOT more if I went to a co-ed school. :(
