I had a 1.5 hour power nap at around 3:30, managed to cram in almost everything before the exam.

Also, I didn't get any excess oxygen for the second question, and I rechecked my working several times... either I misread (possible due to lack of sleep), or the person who wrote the exam is messing with us.

Last question I didn't get to finish. I had an atomic carbon balance, a hydrogen balance and an energy balance but two of my flow rates ended up being negative. I re-did the question and obtained the same answer... so I just cut the loss, re-checked everything and cried internally (see: your sig) for the remaining five minutes.

Sigh, I'm already starting to feel the post exam caffeine withdrawal.
What was there to cram? I swear there was no actual content for the subject, it was just basic maths.

YEAH, NEITHER DID I BECAUSE I JUST TOOK OUR OXYGEN INPUT AS THE THEORETICAL BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T SPECIFY!!!
But I thought she wanted us to take 130% excess air, but then the question asked about the amount of air used and I was like "kill yourself".

Oh, I got that, I think.
I had like 6.8% and 5% or something. I don't even remember. (lol, I don't even know. That was the first time I had done a question like that.)
What room did you sit it in? (I know you weren't in mine)

I just had to get used to the techniques again after a month of doing no chem eng.

What the hell? When did she say to specify 130 % excess air lol? I took the orsat components as summing to 100 moles and extrapolated from that. I ended up with something like 9.X moles of methane and 15.Y moles of oxygen.

I was initially in yours, but then I realized I was in the wrong room and I went upstairs. I had black shorts/grey jumper and I was sitting on the table next to a guy with long black hair.

Wot?

Why?

Please tell me mine aren't coming out soon. :(
Nah they just prioritise marking honours before the usual undergrads which probably explains why they take like two weeks to mark them :p

Also, today and tomorrow will probably be the last days I'll ever be at uni (other than graduation day). Today will be cleaning out the office and tomorrow probably going to the SciSoc drinks.

Thanks for the heads up.

Does anyone know when the results are going to be out?

EDIT: I know this, but when do the majority actually get released? Last time it was around two weeks after the listed date If I recall correctly...
I asked one of my stats lecturers and at least 3rd year stats will be out on 4th or 5th Dec and I assume this will be when 1st year stats will come out too (they have a department meeting on the 3rd re. exam marking and adjustments).

but for other schools, no idea. It varies across departments.

I didn't bother. Yolo

She didn't that's why I was confused!
I took it differently, but I think we got the same amount, because I got ~9.7 kilomoles for CH4 and ~16 kmoles of O2 or something, because I took the nitrogen % output as whatever it was in kmoles.

Hahaha. Omg, TELL ME WHO YOU ARE!
Just pm me a picture of you goddammit. I'll probably never see you again.

Thank god for that!

EVER?!
(I might be at the drinks thing. Yay!)
I guess that could be my last day too. Weird.

I'll add you on facebook. I lived in the hood for several years and as it turns out we have quite a few mutual friends.

Also, I've got two analysis and a vector calculus text book I'd like to (if given the opportunity) print out. I'm guessing printing them out/possessing them is slightly illegal. Any suggestions as to where I should do this? If it comes to worst I guess I'll just have to do it at home. (~700 pages total)

Yeah right, according to my friend the average is really low for quizzes. You could probably write your name on the paper and still pass.

Oh shit, were you that person that added me that I unfriended because you had no profile picture? lol

Just do it at home or at a parent's work. Don't do it at uni. lol

To do PHIL2647 or PHIL2642 you only need to have done 12 junior credit points of anything.

And 2013 is the first year PHIL2647 is offered in sem 1 instead of sem 2 with PHIL2642. Everything's coming up Millhouse!

Totes will brah.

Also, this is my subject plan:

Is that good? Yay? I was gonna do PHSI29XX in first sem next year but I can't fit it in unless I overload which I DO NOT want to do.
(doing logic and comp before intermediate logic - I'm FUCKED)

Aww you're dropping maths and chem?

I'll re-add you as soon as FB starts to work.

On an unrelated note. Some of these people in TWD are so stupid I really have zero compassion for them when they (almost) get torn to shreds.

well, I thought neuroscience is to do with the mind and I'm not doing psych, so I'll do this.

If I could redo my degree I would've done psych so if I don't like pharmacology I'd have a backup for majoring in neuro. Ugh.
