is half yearlies based on Year 11 + some of Year 12 content or is it only year 12 content
probably depends if the course is a 1 year or 2 year course. eg maths is all 2 years meaning yr 11 and 12 content is assessable, but most subjects are 1 year courses where yr 11 is only foundational knowledge like phys, chem, business, etc. also could depend how academic your school is

does anyone just feel a sense of depression that we are graduating this year? We are leaving all of our friends and going into the real world..
Yeah I feel a bit excited but I think I'll have a sense of emptiness after I graduate
I quit my job of 2 yrs yesterday and I was feeling a bit depressed but I think I'll feel it to a much greater extent after graduating :(

this might sound depressing but i'm more excited for uni life and just want high school and my childhood to be over. based on the type of person i am, i would say i would love to have a more independent lifestyle so i think i might love being an adult and moving out and stuff. i think there are very few moments in my life that i'd like to relive, especially in relation to school, so i'm pretty ready to move on and turn a new leaf ngl

yess i completely agree but its lowk scary, im no longer forced to do anything, its kinda sad, takes the fun out of being stupid.
yes you get to be stupid in high school and yes, with more independence comes more responsibility and a need to not be stupid. but i think there are a lot more stupid things to be done still, it's like life is still beginning for you as a baby adult. you live and you learn or whatever

i see becoming older as realising the potential to build whatever kind of a future you want (to some extent, reality is more pessimistic) because when you are younger, parents, teachers, peers etc. have a huge influence on who you are and are a huge driving force in how you lead your life. but at some given point you become too old to let them make every choice for you and you finally get to tap into many possible life decisions that you wouldn't have been able to make if you still had to abide by everyone's expectations.
