we r doing core (power and authority), our national study is USA, conflict in the pacific and then civil rights in the usa

If temporal context is used in your analysis or is relevant to the topic/ mod, then you should include it. My school hasn't covered mod B yet so Idk if context is important for the mod, but if you do bring up its context in your analysis, then definitely include the date in your thesis.
