Can any of my bio gang answer the following questions .
- Do we need to know the steps for PCR and Gel Electrophoresis in depth or just the applications of them?
- How much detail do we need to know for the stages of mitosis and meiosis?

- For us, we learned the entire processes of PCR and Gel Electrophoresis so that we could briefly outline them, but it also helps you understand how they work for applications
- It's good to learn mitosis and meiosis to quite a bit of detail, including the function of the centrioles/microtubules, homologous chromosomes, crossing over, independent assortment, and random segregation. Also, make sure you know how to model or draw them as well as their purposes

Does anyone know if a 97 ATAR with three UAC EAS categories and a good UCAT score would be competitive for UNSW medicine? (Assuming my selection rank is adjusted because of EAS). Alternitively, would it be better if I applied to UNSW Med through the Gateway program?

I think for unsw med they look at ur atar raw which I'm pretty sure is super not allowed but I think true??? idk
