like you have to write down stuff that makes you stand out. my tuition teacher told me to write about being good at English for ruse bc apparently they're aren't that good at it
im having trouble with the questions about being valuable to the community and why they want me (for baulko and ruse) so if anyone knows smt please tell me

for ruse i wrote having a positive attitude to learning and participating in the community

I've been doing thinking skills and GA for years so abstract reasoning should be easy except there's no formula or an organized way to solve these types of problems so they just pmo...

My hopes are pretty low this year since penrith doesn't take many people in for year 8 entry. I'm kinda just using this as a practice for year 10 I guess

Wait so in abstract reasoning, what's the hardest part?? I heard there are like 3 sections where one is next in sequence, the other is middle of sequence and the last is complete the pattern. I've heard people saying that middle of sequence is the hardest. What should I practice the most?

Yeah that's what it says on the website, but like once last term I emailed penrith and asked abt the spots for yr 8 and they said they "don't know any places at this point".

Hi guys, does anyone know how to tell if the writing task is supposed to be creative or discursive in the HAST exam? It doesn't really state whether it's creative or discursive in the question, they js give you a picture or an issue/topic. Do you like loose marks if you don't do the writing style they want, or can you choose??
