wait omd u arent included in the gateway program?? ur subjects are good, do u doubt urself getting the atar required for actuarial due to ur marks or ranks?? bc if its marks u can improve u still have 6 weeks (ik its hard for maths )

its english and business that kills my atar really. Cuz for some reason i cant write an essay or report to save my life for business. english on the other hand im ranked decently (14/110) but im averaging 80 and its gonna scale down cuz its standard. for standard subjects i think u need to get at least 83 to 85% to not be affected by scaling

any last minute tips before paper one

um pls get the highest marks u possibly can in this paper with my school paper 2 every student dropped a band or two... constantly refer to the question EVERYWHERE in ur essay, embed context, audience impact, good vocab yk all the important stuff. and with short answers DO NOTTT leave anything blank - answer the question and add in one extra piece of evidence if ur not confident with what you've written - if you struggle with techniques go on TikTok and search up eng paper 1 short answer tips hsc lol learn the most common techniques for each text type (e.g. poem, non fiction- article) and its effect. thats what I did cos I did not practice throughout the entire year forgot all the basics and ended up with a 17/20 in my trial for sa
