everyone is always somewhat alone, is what i've started noticing... we spend time with others, but the way we build our friendships during highschool its very "school based." If it weren't for skl, would i still be friends with them? thats the question right.

I mean ofcourse there are some people and groups who have really tight friendship groups, which i'm so happy for them... but the majority i've seen is a nope.

i had a very close friend in high school and when she left schools at the end of year 9 she stopped messaging (like we message now but when we meet up its so awkward)

i thought we were besties but she found someone else so lowkey i feel like i have no close friends, even in uni

nah dont get social media ive stopped using insta as much as I used to because i always used to compare myself to others or for e.g if someone went overseas id feel kind of upset that I dont get to live a life like that kind of dumb but yeah i sometimes feel like that

I don't have any form of social media (like insta/tiktok)
I do have discord, but i use it for online friends so im not counting it with irl social life.

But i've had people come up to me and ask for my insta, and then i say 'sry i don't have it'. And they never ask for something more. like umm was i not interesting enough to give you my number?

I hope a time will come when someone says "oh, do you have an email," i would cry and die on the spot, because i think thats absolutely adorable.

Reading all this makes me feel a little bit less bad about not caring that I probably won't see most of my friends again..
Who needs friends when you'll have all the time in the world
