ok yeah thats what im experiencing as well thanks! were you able to use the myplan system to load some preset classes on or did you have to enrol each class manually as well? im just worried that ive only put down like 3-4 really generic sounding classes i pulled off the recommended progression plans online and my friend doing just engineering pretty much has the exact same classes as me, so idk if the classes are really covering the adv sci part of my double
lol nope myPlan didnt work. Tbh I was on call with a friend who does the degree im enrolling for and she explained it all to me but honestly once u get the hang of it it's pretty easy! search up unsw progression plans and click ur faculty then go to ur degree (it has doubles all of them), and click it (I'll do this for u rn).
another tab go to the unsw website > search ur degree > what do I study thingy > scroll and click handbook - from here go to the 'Level 1, 2 etc' or whatever its called under disciplinary component for ur degrees and look through ur first yr courses and see what u have to take first then go to 2nd yr to make sure you've put in the right ones - pretty sure progression plan has everything for u anyways tbh this is just extra work but I did it for my electives cos some require prerequisites in their area of study (e.g. Arts faculty offering a history class but I wasnt able to add it cos it required a previous history course) 0 so sorry if this didnt make sense im just yapping

let me get the plan for u and u check if you've done it right.
OH AND ALSO wherever it says free elective on what im gonna send, check on the unsw handbook (para above) and see if u have any second yr courses that dont require prerequisites cos u can js do them in first yr (unless u reckon ur workload is gonna be too much which im assuming it will)
