I struggled with vocab as well, but then I used vocabularly.com. Even though its not exam-styled it significantly improves ur vocab. Just take a look at its vocab lists

to study for the hast test english section i used merriam webster's vocab test and ngl it helped me break down the hard-to-understand texts

read high lexile level texts -- not only will this help with you for vocab but also reading AND for writing since the inherent use of these words will show you how to actually put these words into your writing imo it is the undisputed best way just a suggestion
