year 9 parramatta and i haven't done ngo before for any subject. and also is dr du better for math for year 9 than ngo?

du is better in a way cus they produce state rankers and the students are mostly top 10 selective kids, but it’s hella expensive compared to ngo (dr du doesn’t seem too expensive in y9 but once u get to y11 and 12 the prices go up crazy like 1500-1700 a term)

yea unless ur grades aren’t too good u should probs join in mid y10 (that’s when ngo starts hsc content)

dyk if there are a lot of people in the classes bc my friend is saying that theres like 35 people in one class

Yeah my class had over 40 something ppl so sometimes we ran out of seats for the latecomers

Wait guys I'm applying for baulko this year for year 9 entry, and i wanna choose girra as a backup school. Do i need to get at least 3 superiors in Edu test so i can enter successfully or 5? I don't really have an outstanding portfolio since that I've just came to Australia for like abt2 years. Has anyone enter baulko in year 9? also i'm currently in a local high school.

i have the exact same question lol. But I think if we want to get into baulko, we need like at least 4 superiors bc my portfolio also isn't too good...

if you don’t have a good portfolio, u need more superiors. vice versa

the goal is balancing the right amount of portfolio and superiors to getting in the school

Ahh ok. My reports and certificates are pretty good, but I only have hv a few extracurriculars. considering my school rank is like ~100, I'll try to get 4 superiors.
