    Parking at UTS

If you don't mind paying, then Broadway shopping centre and Market City shopping centre both have all day student parking for under $10. Most people tend to park there :p

Re: The UTS 'Secks and w00t Holidays!' Thread Applied Company Law isn't that hard, but it's so dead boring :p The 3 hour seminar tutorials don't help much either =.=; Tax Law is much more interesting, but it's harder (the assessments are not the actual content!) =\ ABC used to be like the...

Re: The UTS 'Secks and Hope you were all ready since exams almost over!' Thread Well in the past concession cards were valid until the end of March the following year (or the expiry date on your card, whichever is closer).

Whats the best dvd playing software/ codec?

Also, on some 'newer' monitors, you may notice DVDs are not as good, simply because the newer monitor may be better suited to more higher quality output (such as Blu-ray). If you have a TV tuner card, then you'll notice that watching a HD digital tv channel will produce a clearer output than...

    UTS - Semester 2 2007 Guestimates + Official Results (19 Dec 2007) thread

Whoa 98 dude! Well done =) I wish I could have got a mark that high. I was stoked at my 90 for ABC, haha, but the exam was fairly easy that semester. It was also my only HD in a Business subject! Hope the job is going well too!

    UTS - Semester 2 2007 Guestimates + Official Results (19 Dec 2007) thread

Ooh you worked with Itch =p Maybe you should check your ITPS mark. I thought it was quite easy to get a D or HD in that subject, lol. Don't worry too much about your average. As long as you have a D average it's all good. Not much point having a HD average =p In Business, a C average is pretty...

    UTS - Semester 2 2007 Guestimates + Official Results (19 Dec 2007) thread

Not your best semester, but you still did well =P MDC is a 'hard' subject, so you did well in it. Suprised you didn't get higher in AIT though, but at least you passed! ITPS yeh, a D would have been good here at least. Well ITPS has no final exam, so I assume you should have already know what...

    BusComp dead, BBusBscit

Well looking at your previous marks, I'd say you are quite alright at programming (better than most people in your course I'd say). In that case, when asked that question in an interview, you should probably say that you have a good understanding of the topic, though don't want to persue a...

Well IMO, .NET will provide you with something more beneficial than IMP/POTI, but yeh it's up to you :p

    Credit cards

Minimum amount calculations are usually in your T&C of your credit card account. It is usually like a few % of your outstandating balance or like $10 if your balance is pretty low. The amount is due on the date it says so on your bill (which is about 2-4 weeks after you get your bill). On a...

    BusComp dead, BBusBscit

Enterprise Development with the .NET Framework is easier than AIT, and much more useful given how a lot of newer apps are being developed with .NET. I didn't do IAJ, but it is most likely challenging. If you had to choose between IAJ and .NET I would definately go with .NET.

    BusComp dead, BBusBscit

Actually Communication for IT Professionals is fairly different to the communications subject that the students who failed the ELSSA test did. This subject assumes you have a good level of English already. It more has to do with teaching you how to research and reference properly (which was...

Re: The UTS 'Secks and Hope you were all ready since exams almost over!' Thread Very observant there Huratio, lol. Well I technically did 2 years as BScIT before I transferred, so I met the requirements of both the BScIT and the BBus/BComp (of the old structure) when you think about it. It also...
