Are you sure? I did it by using |x| = sqrt(x^2) (squaring both sides) and got x < 0, x > 16/3. I used a computer program to check it over and I got the same result. (x-8)^2 < (2x-8)^2 x^2 - 16x + 63 < 4x^2 - 32x + 63 -3x^2 + 16x < 0 -3x (x-16/3) < 0 x < 0, x > 16/3
