    Text books

hehe hmmm ignore Malazn Pleasure's sarcasm...:p you'll get told everything you need to know in regards to books during your first lectures/tutes for each subject. You can look up the textbooks you may need now on the coop website, though most of us will suggest you don't as lecturers can change...

    TUT Registration

that's right, you can make a certain amount of changes to your timetable and what you register for providing that there is still room in the tute you want to move to. If there is room you just click on your preferred time and submit your registration like you did the first time around...if...

    "unconfimed"

definitely do that now so they are aware of what's going on before uni starts...they may be able to do more if they know in advance. E-mail is a good option, first try that and if you don't get a response try contacting them directly by phone...oh and let me know if you need help finding contact...

What To Do When Your First Draft Is A Piece Of Shit?

glitterfairy is right, EE2 is all about process, it is all about refining and improving...your first draft is not meant to be fantastic, and frankly I don't think that a first draft can be. You are given a lot of time to both research and write your major work so that you can rework it and make...

    "unconfimed"

have you contacted the unit co-ordinator? Don't worry though you'll still get a place in a tute, they may squeeze you in to the tute you want due to the problems you've had...stuff like this is not uncommon...if you haven't already contact the unit co-ordinator so they are aware of your...

    UNI gear

hey, what you choose to use is up to you, there isn't really a set thing that everyone uses. This year for example I'm using one of those 5 subject notebooks that are split into 5 sections, my particular one has sleeves in which to put sheets etc. I don't really think there is any need to...

    timetable??

you don't get a choice between lectures but technically you are meant to register for them like you would your chosen tutorial...so just select the lecture when you choose the tutorial you want. Usually lectures finish about 10 minutes before you have to be where you need to be so yes as cape...

    Benefactors

I have no doubt you always try to help, sorry if my post made you think I thought otherwise. Though sending a private message to ask why you were rejected is a good idea, at least then you'll know for sure the reasons why you weren't accepted this time...keep trying and helping and it'll be all...

    Benefactors

I'd say you're allowed to re-apply, not straight away though obviously...i'd leave it awhile, and in the meantime try and make your posts meaningful and helpful, and post in threads that you think allow your posts to be this...if you really want to be a benefactor your posts need to reflect that...

    Benefactors

If a grey box appears instead of a green one that just means that person hasn't made enough posts yet (you have to make 50 before you can give rep points) either that or they have less than ten reputation points. So basically their rep is noted, but you get no points for it. This is all...

    How 2 register for tutes

yeah I'm not surprised they're full...the system is running faster, lots of people trying to get in, getting in quicker means places fill up faster...the added quickness is good, less frustrating...I just hope I get what I want too...congrats on getting what you wanted natstar. ;)

    How 2 register for tutes

really...I just had a friend that's been in and out already....the system seems pretty fast today so I'm feeling confident for when I have to register...what school are you waiting for natstar?

    How 2 register for tutes

hehe klh I was referring more to the colourful name dave_119 called you...it doesn't really matter because that's slightly off the topic of this thread...how is everyone going with getting into tutes that has to register today?

    How 2 register for tutes

ok guys be nice, there is no need for posts like that...but yes as cape says tutorials are a week behind lectures, so if you have a tute before a lecture that tute will actually cover the topic assigned to the last lecture. That is the one you attend the week before, and the next will cover the...

    How 2 register for tutes

no, though it is best to do it as soon as you can in any case. The activities fee was due 11 Feb, though as cape says you have until 31 march to pay the other one.

    How 2 register for tutes

yeah he sent my a private message too asking the same question, everything klh said is true, what he means will be more obvious and easier to understand when everything is open and enabled...it's really quite self explanatory when you can see what's going on.

    unconfirmed

that's right the confirm registrations button is really only a summary of what you are registered for, but that has to do with tut reg and not with enrolling in units...though you can find that under the "timetable" button in "tutorial registration" but it won't help you with getting your units...

    How 2 register for tutes

ok well the best you can do is to try and log-on at the time the school your units belong to opens...if it doesn't work than you won't be disadvantaged if no one else can register...and if there is a problem which stuffs up your plans then the uni will do their best later on to accommodate your...

    UWS Website

don't worry it should be up and running soon...at worst it should only be down a couple of hours and I'm sure they are making sure everyone is enrolled for the start of tute reg tomorrow...let us know if your units are showing as enrolled when the sites up :)

To Drop or not to Drop...

whether you drop it or not really depends on how confident you are that you will do extremely well in your other subjects. Having 10 units is a bit of a risk in case you bomb out in any of them...then again if software is likely to be the subject that doesn't count that doesn't necessarily mean...
