    How is this possible?

UTS has pretty good computing facilities and the courses have industrial experience in them (the Engineering one and the single IT degrees).

    BBusiness (First Year Subjects) Overview

Well I can't answer the UNSW side of your question much, but I'll try with the UTS side. Basically, the BBusiness has more core subjects in the first year than the BComm or the BEco does (as far as I know). These core subjects are all required if you're doing the Accounting major (so the...

    Where is the nearest starbucks?

I agree. Too bad bad there isn't a Gloria Jeans near Wynyard :(.

    New police power

Well, in that case, they have reasonable grounds to do so, so I don't see anything wrong with it.

    Law subjects as business electives

Well from my understanding, the "free" electives in the BBusiness (like the 4 spare electives you can get if you only do a 2nd sub-major) can be anything from the university. So, in theory, you should be able to do those law subjects, but you might have to wait until all the law students have...

How much did cut offs change for some subjects

The UAIs are out but the UAC preference allocations won't be out until mid-January. That's when the cut offs will come out too.

Question about B Business, Kuring-gai campus

The Kuring-gai campus is at Lindfield, on the north shore. You can catch a train to Lindfield station and then either walk or a catch a bus from there. There is also a free shuttle bus that goes from the City Campus to Kuring-gai campus. It is about a 25 minute train ride from Central. For...

    Where is the nearest starbucks?

lol :p. Well no, not really, but people do anyways. Tutorials are usually fine with most classes. Lecture's, well as long as the lecturer doesn't see. Most of the time I do anyways (whether its coffee or EasyWay). I don't go to Starbucks around uni, so the only one I know of is at Capitol...

Note to IT students selecting a sub-major

Well Internet Commerce is a waste of time, but it's easy I guess. Maybe do another Business subject, like Accounting for Business or Business Law and Ethics. If you like programming (or anything else), choose something from one of the sub-majors.

    Where is the nearest starbucks?

As if starbucks. There are 4 Gloria Jeans near UTS, and thats all you need to know!

UTS ADVISORY DAY 2006 - so you going?

Well usually the information says are all on the same day because the uni's hope that you have at least made up your mind about what uni you want to go too :p. If not, then they are basically just trying to compete with each other. These days are more meant for you to get last minute advise on...
