    Pharmacy @ USYD, cutoff?

No, there are 4 subjects per semester (8 per year). Most of the subjects, apart from some in 4th year, are worth 6 credit points each.

    Pharmacy @ USYD, cutoff?

There are often two or three different streams for lectures-and possibly more streams for pracs. As for myself, depending on how my credit transfer application plays out, I may have really loose 1st year and hopefully one or two subjects off 2nd year as well.

    Pharmacy @ USYD, cutoff?

No, it's perfectly fine to buy textbooks once uni starts in March. Some people even get along without textbooks, lol.

    Pharmacy @ USYD, cutoff?

Sorry mate. Only know stuff for faculties of Science, Pharmacy, and Medicine. But I suggest you go and dig around in relevant department pages, the data are usually hidden in some obscure links.

    Pharmacy @ USYD, cutoff?

On the day, apart from HECS forms to fill out (bring your Tax File Number), you require just the money to pay for student union/SRC should you wish to join. I forgot how much it is to join, but student union cost $99 last year. Though you don't have to worry about it now, the textbook will cost...

    Pharmacy @ USYD, cutoff?

Thank you Anonymus! Actually there is no net change in Pharmacy places as a result of the removal of B.Pharm (Rural). The places from B.Pharm (Rural) has been simply absorbed into standard B.Pharm. There is a facilitated pathway for certain number of rural background to gain B.Pharm...

    Pharmacy workload

The fact that you have to come into uni every weekday for a few hours do not change if you are going to pursue almost any science-related degree. The workload does not lighten after the first year. If anything, it increases as you move into second and third year, since you get to learn more...

    Pharmacy @ USYD, cutoff?

I applied as a NRSL student with tertiary academic record. Thus a transfer case, but will chip in for the sake of meaningful statistics GPA: 6.25 -> converted into selection rank TER 97 STAT: Numeracy-200/200, Literacy-172/200, Overall-179/200 I suspect that the cut-off fell quite a bit...

    Accpetance of offers: CSP/DFEE

I do not appreciate your rudeness. Actually, from your attitude, I do wonder what sort of pharmacist you are going to be for the community. Are you going to call your patient/client a retard when there's something that he/she doesn't know that you do?

    Accpetance of offers: CSP/DFEE

Just a quick question everyone. I have received a Commonwealth Sponsored (CSP) offer for one degree and a Full-FEE (DFEE) offer for another degree. Is it possible to accept both offers for present and withdraw from one of them before the census date, or do I have to make up my mind by the...

    Vacancies in 2008 science courses

Hmm, the demand for generic Science courses seem to be dropping. I personally do not believe the vacancy reflect the significant increase in number of places available.

HELP! How quickly does Med Sci @ SydU fill up? (Undergrad applications...)

It's nothing to shoot yourself over, Melissa. Even apart from Vacancy from main round at USYD, there are other universities with Medical Science degree. You can also enrol in Bachelor of Science if you don't get in the late round and apply for Medical Science (Second-year entry). A couple of my...

    Help!!!! Emergency! Pharmacy Experts!

While there may be some who reject Pharmacy offer in favour of something else, leaving some spots available for the late round, I wouldn't rely on that. In any case, there won't be too many spots up for grabs. But if you are looking at DFEE places, most of those people who have received offer...

    2008 Transfers!! =]

What a relief!! I now have to choose between two options. Bachelor of Pharmacy (CSP) at the University of Sydney AND Bachelor of Medicine (DFEE) at the University of Newcastle/University of New England GPA: 6.25 Just a quick question, can I accept both CSP and DFEE places for now and...

    Pharmacy - Orange or Wagga?

I believe you need distinction average to have a good chance of transfer, as there are people from other degrees going for transfer which makes it highly competitive.

    Physiotherapy Vs Pharmacy

    1) While I have heard that the workload for physiotherapy is a bit more than other degrees, I can't answer for it with confidence. It is my opinion, however, that 2nd and 3rd year pharmacy subjects are very demanding on students. 2) Hope not!! I know I couldn't bring myself to do that in...

    Haneef gets his Visa back.

Looks like Dr. M. Haneef can come back to Australia to complete his medical training should he chooses. Hope this is the end of Saga surrounding the controversy, though I have a feeling he might demand compensation for mistreatment including what may prove to be a wrongful detention. Your...

    Clerical Recheck

If your mark was found to be lower than the one that was originally given, they do not amend the mark. It's only when the acutal mark was found to be higher that they change your HSC mark-and possibly, but not necessarily, UAI.
