i'm a macq student.. as well as a usyd student..

i'm considering being a macq student. i'm still weighing up my options. the main thing holding me back is how far macq is from my house!!

yep you predicted right dingo!! i got into this course. it was my 7th preference. i don't really want to do it cuz macq is too far so i might just stick with usyd. i'm lost on which course to do right now. does anyone know what kind of reputation MACQ's computing and IT degrees have?

they didn't have any vacancies in the main round for last year. on another note, what gpa do you need to trasnfer from bscit to b.bus/b.comp??

your HECS costs will depend on which faculty you pick your subjects from. since in this degree you are required to have an arts major and a science major, you'd be looking in the first and second hecs band.

do you think in the late round that the cut offs for this course will rise alot? i really wanted to get into b.bus/b.comp but i missed out so i was thinking of putting this course down and hopefully trasnferring after a year.

hey how many hours does a math class take up? i'm referring to math130 and math 135. is it just lectures and tutes?

that depends on the course. some faculties will allow you to trasnfer degrees in the same faculties. but others, you will need to go thru uac and your uai/gpa will be considered!!

how can you be sure that it will be at the servo's at that time. i thought they get the papers in the early morning.. hmm i must be wrong!

does anyone know how many places on offer there are in this course? and how many of those offers are for nrsl?

i'd advise you not to move your preference offer off your list, just move it to the bottom. and also to ACCEPT your main round offer so that you are guaranteed a spot just incase you do not get any offers.

you only get offered a fee paying on IF YOU HAVE FEE PAYING COURSES ON YOUR LIST OF PREFERENCES!!

well people are scrambling into uni courses before the new hecs system comes into effect next year!!

do you think people are getting more intelligent OR that people are finding new ways of manipulating the HSC? i remember reading some newspaper article about some guy remembering past answers and just re-using them.

i just found out that to internally trasnfer within uws, you can only apply after your first semester.
