You should probably post this in the Ancient History Forum... I have some notes on the reigns of Augustus, Tiberius, Gaius, Cladius and Nero if you want to trade. How comprehensive are your notes?

I use Dixon and i hate it... Its not a good example of the needed language to be used in exams. Bulmer i think sets a better example, but the best would be economic papers released by the government, RBA or financial institutions.

Dixon does have the Phillips curve... I would suggest the changing structure of the Australian Economy, Inflation and Unemployment.

Well the secret to Ancient History is wide reading. Dont just stop at reading all of the ancient sources, read as many of the modern sources in order to develop your own views on certain issues. I.e. take an arguement from one author, some more from others, and intergrate them to make your...

I liked the Patel and Fitzpatricks questions on Conics... And yes, Past HSC is best :D

Mechanics is the hardest, followed by Harder 3u and then by Conics. After that Polynomials... The rest i have some confidence in doing :D

essays... thank god we will have finished the HSC by then. Anyway, an area of concern for me is always the difficulty of interpreting what the question actually asks for...

They are going to change the Area of Study in 2004... Too bad we will have finished it by then.

I feel exactly the same way... No matter how nice my teacher really is, she is an utter incompetent when answering my questions. only 1 out of 10 times would she actually have a clue on how to answer a question. That is not to say she still got it right, though.

We are currently 3/4 way through our last topic... wow we are fast in comparison.

Actually its very different in our school... Generally the top 10 share and help each other, because we realise that the better the whole school goes, the better each person gets scaled. We are competitive, but not to the point where it may damage our friendships.

1st= 92% 2nd= 68% 3rd= 92% Well for the first and third, i put in about 4 hours worth of study for three nights before the test... For the 2nd, i only did 2 hours total. Study i think is necessary for 4u maths, especially all the past papers.

We are almost done. We are halfway through our last period, the Persian Wars. After that its all revision.

Thats what i had today :mad1: It was pretty hard, as she took a Question 8 from one of the HSCs and placed into the test... Anyway, our class has Polynomials, Mechanics and Harder 3u left.
