You *might* be able to call 13 11 12 and ask them, but I'm not sure what their opening hours are.

They tell you everything which will appear on the actual HSC Record, i.e. final moderated assessment mark, aligned examination mark, and HSC Mark (average of the previous two).

I've heard from some teachers that the BOS has a special moderation procedure for small cohorts - not sure how true that is though, and I don't have any direct evidence for it.

That's true, but all the online ATAR calculators estimate using the statistics compiled with aligned marks. OP, have you accounted for alignment in making up those numbers, or are you thinking of that in raw marks?

In my year of 35, we have 4 people doing both Extension 1 and Extension 2 (myself included). I do know of some fairly major schools up this way that don't run Extension 2 though.

UAC website, using your UAC application number (BOS student number preceded by a 1) and UAC PIN. Main Round offers don't come out until around the 20th of January if I recall correctly.

IIRC it was around July, but uni applications don't open until around mid-August, and you'll definitely have it by then.

The texts will probably start emerging at 6am, but due to the nature of phone networks they might take a while to get through. Internet's the best option if you want your results within 5 seconds of them coming out.

As said, from the school. However don't confuse it with your UAC PIN, which is sent directly to you in the post, and I think it comes slightly later than your BOS PIN.

I'm guessing it would be both reasons - the BOS only has 220 fulltime employees, and only a fraction of those would be working on making the phone calls. There's over 100 courses they have to go through as well. Does anyone know if state rankers get phone calls, or an email or something?
