    pathways

How did you go in your half yearlies?

Re: 回复: Re: 回复: Re: How did you go in your half yearlies? Well, everyone I've spoken to says 50% marks in half-yearlies are quite reasonable - but then again, I live in the country, where no-one expects a UAI above 97 or so, and no-one gets all-rounders or generally awesome marks, by Sydney...

    Year 12 Common rooms

We've got this fairly small room that's got some desks, lockers, lounges, a fridge, sink and microwave, separate toilets/bathroom, and a few other things. No entertainment except that brought in by students. Next year we'll be moving to a bigger room after the new building is finished. Of...

    after 5 weeks

Three assessments this term - an in-class test for MX2, a speech for English and a catapult for Physics. Already have Legal assessment (Human Rights), due next term. Still have trouble with English. MX1/2 homework is annoying.

Can schools force subject choice? - the official opinion from the Board

This question has come up quite a few times, so I emailed the Board last month asking for their opinion. This came in today, with all the nice vagueness that Board letters always have. My interpretation of it is: yes, schools CAN force you to do/not do certain subjects. Hope this clears it up.

    2009ers: Year 12 Jerseys

First meeting of jersey committee today. I really don't want a design where we have to pay > $100... For those of you responsible for selecting designs: how far do you think your school will let you go in picking designs? Being an Anglican school we have to pretty conservative in what we use.
