    Re: Exams approaching too quickly...Advice required. Usually the first HSC assessments won't be as 'tough' so there's nothing to worry about. Just make sure you revise your work a few days before the exam and make sure you know your concepts. No need to stress Reshad, I'm sure you'll be fine.

    Good luck mate! I did the accelerated course and let me tell you - you should do some work in the holidays - I didn't and it was difficult for me to catch up.

    Not true. My school's catholic and we're considered private. Even though we're in Fairfield (one of the poorest areas) and I'm pretty sure most of our students aren't rich.

    When does your holiday start?

    We finish class on Friday (5th) and we have our picnic day on the following monday (8th) and we have to come back in for an english assessment on the wednesday (10th). Then freedom!

    Seriously there's nothing wrong with bludging after the school certificate... I did. Personally I don't think there's anything wrong with bludign the prelims either - again i know I did. But it will be difficult for you to adapt once you hit year 12, so start studying slowly. But in saying...

    Well technically the Board of Studies makes it a requirement that a student completes school until the end of the term - after the School Certificate has been completed. But it really depends on your school - if they care - then go to school, otherwise just stay home.

    Yeah - a few schools offer IB in Sydney, all private schools. Anyway after a term into 4U maths - I can say that it is pretty hard, however the key to success in this subject is practise. Keep on doing questions - and it should get easier. But yeah both the IB and 4U maths are university level...

    We have our Year 12 area which is enclosed by our really big wall - so it's like a little sanctuary which is hidden from the rest of the school.

    I don't even think about exams after I've sat them - I mean it's over - you can't do anything about it. Shoud've been stressing over it before you sat the exam.
