Re: What UAI are you aiming for? It won't scale you down that bad. But generally, if you're doing those subjects - you aren't really aiming/expecting to do that well?

I reckon the biggest losers would be those accelerating the HSC Course next year. Because if they want to resit the HSC, they have to re-learn a whole heap of new stuff.

Next year. So the Year 12s in 2009 will be the first cohort to be doing the 'Belonging' Area of Study, instead of the 'Journey' one.

You COULD love someone over the internet I guess... pretty sad I reckon. If you meet them on the internet, meet up somewhere, then keep talking via the internet - then that would be ok I guess.

Personally, I think you should keep 2U (Advanced) Mathematics until the end of your prelims, then if you get a dcent mark 80-100, then keep advanced maths, otherwise drop it.

But there are fewer resources, less experience from teachers in teaching the module, less ways to plagiarise (and yes I know plagiarism is a sin). Then again, there's no point in me complaining - syllabus change is gonna happen no matter what.

Re: Recommended Texbooks/Study Guides? Excel generally is crap. I tried borrowing one of their english ones at the library - useless in my opinion. As for the other subjects - Excel is too brief.

LOL thanks, It's not that bad though, we've actually finished the course. I just have to do more qs and stuff to be proficient at all aspects of the course. Trials in Week 4 ... so I should be ready by then... if not then the HSC.

Nope, they'd prob fall off... well thats why I take them off..

I don't do Chem or Bio myself, bu I know my friends doing chem had to present a speech - I can't see the point in that though.

LOL ... I don't go on water rides in theme parks, so I don't need a guide. I'm more of a rollercoaster person :).
