    team unsw!

Here's a cool experiment for you to do when uni starts. During your first few accounting lectures, look around the theatre (should be about 300 or so), sit up the back and count how many blond/brown heads you see :)

    What's "Laboratory" in Econ1202 Quadrangle Lab6?

It's basically Excel, graphing and all that stuff Pretty much a bludge..back when I did it, all you had to do was turn up to all classes to get 5 marks for assessment

    LEGT2751 Business Taxation

Business transactions is a cakewalk compared to business tax There is A LOT of content, there's 3 textbooks (1 legislation, 1 casebook, 1 textbook) and you'll need all of them (considering the final exam is open book - which does not mean its easier). I strongly suggest that you don't skip...

    UAC Transfer Confirmations for 2006

That must mean that Com (Lib) was the most popular course to transfer to! (aside from something like Med). It's tough when most other courses dropped, whereas Com (Lib) increases..

USYD Commerce cut-off now higher than UNSW's

I think mr_shittles raised an interesting point for all the "USyd is good, has less asians" etc. Now that the USyd cutoff is higher, asian parents will percieve USyd to be the best and hence more internationals and asians will go to USyd

    Commerce enrolment Quick Q

Are you planning to major in Finance? If so, choose FINS1612 and FINS1613 as your S1 and S2 electives. If not, do LEGT1711 and FINS1613 (in any order, as they are offered in both sessions) Do FINS1613 this semester though, and I'll see you in lectures :)
  17. Minai

    uh-oh!

Yes, you have to enrol in S2 now, but you can change that anytime till whenever the census date is in August. Don't worry what the online planner says, just follow what the Online Handbook says (in relation to courses being offered in certain sessions)

That's just funny  Anyway, yeah, you guys will now be able to experience creating a timetable that's completely customiseable, as opposed to the USyd "lottery click" timetable generator (and yeah I've queued up with my gf who's at USyd for the damn timetable changes)

    B Econ to B Com

Yes, you can do it anytime (but remember 1711 is a prerequisite for almost all the later LEGT subjects) I did IBUS1101 and IBUS1102 (which is now known as MGMT1101/1102) as I was interested in international business. Once I got my transfer I settled into Accounting/Biz Law
