I got 81.00, and did nothing all year.

There is a "day before" BOS rule? Because at my school people are always having days off before the assessment is due so they can study at home. What I think is ridiculous is that people just go to a doctor and get a doctors certificate when they are perfectly fine and they have just been...

Looking forward to the future... But struggling to survive the present. Anyone else?

As much as I want this year to be over I can't begin to comprehend what life is going to be like after the HSC, going to university instead of school, drifting away from friends, it's a scary thought.

Shallow life.....what you think about it?

Firstly, there aren't bars where girls who are virgins and who have morals hang out. You have to go searching, you can't expect the perfect person to wind up on your doorstep one day. Put yourself out there as best you can, if a girl is a loving and caring person, so what if she isn't a virgin...

Why doesn't BOS release raw marks?

I think the biggest benefit of recieving raw marks is that we would be able to compare past HSC and raw marks to past HSC papers. In doing that I would be much more aware of what sort of raw marks I need to be scoring to get my aim UAI, both in exams and in assessment task, it would be extremely...

Why doesn't BOS release raw marks?

That sounds very inspirational haha. But honestly it would be rather interesting for students to compare their raw marks to their moderated marks. In the past, from the very small minority of people who have received their raw marks, the gap between then has been massive and of course higher...

    Term 1 tests

Wow thats a bit strange, that would be like only testing students on what they did in term 2 in the yearly exam. But yes, as it has been said before it is usually module 1 and most of/ all of module 2.

Why doesn't BOS release raw marks?

Haha, it would actually be quite interesting to delve further into this but it is an awful lot of effort just for a few numbers.

    your current favourite song

And yes, its the favourite song of every other female aged 12-20 in Sydney by the looks of it. I'm waiting for when HE tours, none of that band shit.. and everyone at the concert sings along to Fall For You and then when he plays Your Call or It's Not Over everyone has no clue of what he is...

    Sunglasses!!

Cheap sunnies are good. The cheap ones look and do the same thing as the expensive ones except they dont have a designer logo on the side of them, I can survive without that.

Why doesn't BOS release raw marks?

That is true, some people recieve their HSC marks and are so excited because they get in the 70s then they get a UAI of 50 and wonder what happened. I think they should give us our raw marks and it should be UAC's job to moderate and scale and do whatever else happens to our marks so that it is...

    no title is better...

Just take a deep breath and relax, if the HSC is causing you this much grief then maybe take a break for a while and then get back into it. If it gets worse then maybe you could talk to someone about it?

    11 or 13 units?

13 units is a pretty big workload with your subjects, like Ext 2 maths and physics. It is entirely up to you and the confidence you have in your subjects, however I recommend 11 :)

    10 or 12 units ???

12 units seems to work fine with me, I was used to it in Year 11 and it's just basically the same workload but it is always a personal thing.

How much study has everyone done so far?

Hopefully with 2009 I can start to get some better study habits for the holidays. Hoping to start probably 4-5 hours from tomorrow.
