    They give each mark in the form: NSW BOS HSC 2013: (course1) (overall mark) (band) (course2) (overall mark) (band) ... I know this from experience as I accelerated a course. However it may be different this year, who knows.

    Haloalkane Isomers

    I would personally refrain from using permutations or any branch of combinatorial mathematics. The HSC questions are designed so the cases are such that you can COUNT them. By doing permutations, it becomes an extreme Q and a huge waste of time. Hope this helps
